Depending on how detailed your music system is, this album provides almost perfect sound. Ben Webster's breathy tone, Ray Brown's detailed bass lines and Oscar P's subtle touch is as good as it gets. As with every Art Pepper SACD I own, the sound is superior. Crisp bass line, dry, tight saxophones and excellent percussion. The music bops hard and the pace is uptempo. A must-have for Art Pepper and bop fans!

This album has a great sound stage, crystal clear, dry brass and a strong bass line. The live performance provides great energy, which you can feel in the band's performance. Vocals are also energetic and well recorded. Highly recommended.
