I bought this because it was cheap (11 Euros) and because my girlfriend enjoys some of his stuff.
This isn’t an impressive album in anyway. The music is boring and sounds like everything you’ve ever heard of him.

Ever since I was first introduced to the music of Pat Metheny I have been a huge fan. But with the lack of decent information on anything but top 40 artists in the Netherlands I wasn’t to surprised to find yet another title I had never heard of.

What can one say about the releases of Audio Fidelity? Well the ones I bought are great! All the ones I own are sonically stunning. But what else would one expect when buying a disc mastered by Steve Hoffman.

I just did a close "Back to Back" comparisson (DCC Gold and SACD) of two of my favourite tracks on '61 (Ballad Of A Thin Man and Just like Tom Thumb's Blues) just to confirm what I already really knew from previous listening.
