As another reviewer posted, this seemed to be the least favorite of DM albums. Last year you could see tons of Exciter SACDs for cheap. Now, they are approaching Violator prices! Why is this? Well, I finally got to listen to mine last night. Same great packaging as Aja. First listen it sounded soft & flat (as was expected). Second listen (yes, this could be just my imagination) things really openned up. Closed my eyes and was able to hear all the separation of instruments & vocals. The ... more

I just got my Aja SACD. I don't have the previous versions, so I can't make a comparison. However, it is a beautiful sounding SACD. It sounds very clear, no hisses, spits, crackles, etc. Despite being 2 channel, there is a pretty good sense of separation of the instrumentation, as well. I can see ... more
