This is another Lyrinx piano recording with unacceptable engineering. I listened to this SACD rather late at night, and when it came to track 3 (Nocturne no. 2), it sounded like a nightmare. This should have been the definitive recording. Indeed, it is the only complete set of the Mozart Piano Sonatas to be found on SACD, and it is recorded in DSD, and, "technically", to an audiophile standard. I find the sound to have an unpleasant, shrill quality, not up to the usual Linn standard. In the loud, tutti violin pasages, the sound jumps out and bites the listener.
