There is a lot of detail on this SACD and the dynamics are solid as well. However, it does tend towards the brittle side of the spectrum and may be just a tad too bright for my system. This is one of those albums that contains more hit singles than most and yet as an album it simply doesn't work. As far as the sound quality goes though this one is very good. I wasn't expecting much and too my surprise I was completely blown away by how good this sacd sounds. Sure there's a bucket load of hiss to contend with you will be too involved simply enjoying the music to even notice, let alone be bothered by it.
