Quite overvalued performance of Beethoven's "Eroica". Vladimir Ashkenazy made this cycle with NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo, during his career with the Japanese orchestra. The performances were recorded from the live concerts.

This disc was one of my first SACDs and it is still very good. Ole Kristian Ruud has been successful Grieg interpreter and his approaches has got many acclaimed awards.
