(A double album on a single SHM-SACD disc) Performance: An Aquired taste. Loud, loud, loud - a very quiet track ! The capture of the beast - a jokey song. Sublime. performance: I always thought of this album as sort of pop music with attitude. It's certainly done with a certain amount of good humour. I went straight to the 5.1 DTS-HD MA. (Sorry, I haven't listened to the other mixes) This has never been my favourite Yes album, as I always found it a bit 'tangled up' and muddled. Not any more. It's going to be difficult to not go on about just how fabulous this dics is. Freddie's voice - it's staggering. Like he's in the room. You can feel the emotion. I'm talking hairs on the back of the neck standing up. The harp is just divine. When it's finished, I am at a loss to find anything else ... more

My first impression of this was "Where has all the treble gone?". All the previous releases of this I've ever heard have had a really 'fizzy' top end. Don't panic. As the music moves along and gets more involved there is actually plenty of treble, it's just not over done. This really help the ... more
