I thought I had reviewed this once.? One of my favourite listens every now and again and super quality.I will probably buy anything this JSP label produce if I can get the sacd versions. Harmonica (Lurrie ) dominates the singing(Carey mostly) at times but the playing instumentals and songs are all well above average and some top notch."Blues with a feeling" ironically stands out.
(both versions) If you are not into this music I suggest you buy it just for background and be entertained by as many different simple guitar riffs and harmonica playing as good you are likely to hear on any sacd. Flimsy notes on this 1988 to 2004 compilation.

Carey Bell at his best! For those of you that enjoy true masterful bluesharp and some snappy guitar work will appreciate this album. The mix is good except for a couple of areas where the vocals should be on a front track instead of the rear but is not that distracting. The music titles are great and not a dud in the bunch. The multichannel is fantastic and all voice and instrumentation is awsome. You will difinitely dig this album.
