An album that is certainly not a record better known. but yet ... It 'a real gem! FOR REAL!
The Artist Salvador plays the piano and WHAT a PIANO ... .. !!! a true Grandpiano Steinway Concert D 274! it is important to specify because the recording is superb and then the sound of the instrument, with all its harmonics, will shine well in your home, if you have a valid system.
Stefania, you understand how it sounds and how she sings, is very attracted by the melody of the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Bessie Smith ... She composed 7 songs for this album and her version of the classic 5 ((Bridge Over Troubled water, Hey Jude, La vie en rose, And if tomorrow, if I'm here tonight) songs will make you dream .....
Blues and jazz songs not only then but also some pop gems. Some good musicians do accompany her musical journey, above off all the great Kyle Gregory with his trumpet
The disc was recorded in the studies Magister in Italy. A place that I know well, having been there several times in various recordings, mostly of small ensembles and / or jazz bands ...
The label VelutLuna is a small Italian label but does talk about it for the excellent proposals which puts on the market.
I know it will be difficult to get someone to investigate and, if necessary, decide to purchase, this SACD. Also because it is readily available.
But anyway ... I advise you to look for it. I'm pretty convinced that, once heard ... you decide to purchase
