Being the only affordable hi rez performance by the MJQ, it is a nice addition for any MJQ lover like me. The playing is really nice, and the fact hat it is a live recording adds to the overall excitement. The sound quality is good despite being a late 50s recording. So don't expect miracles, but it is very decent. The mc track adds a lot of immersion feeling. Maybe too much. It has the downsides that I have witnessed on most blu ray pure audio. The remastering is very aggressive, it lacks the balance and transparency that you generally get on sacds. Nevertheless, I recommend it, after all there is no real alternative if you want mote than rbcd.
