Presumably Mr Nunez is principal bassoon at the RCO? It's a growing trend to moonlight amongst these principals seemingly.

Whenever principals act as soloist at Bournemouth there is always a special tension in the air which adds to the excitement of the occasion. We are all rooting for the guy or gal and hoping like crazy that they don't get stage nerves and screw up. Nothing more pitiable than a strangulated horn note. We even had a double bass concerto once!

Yes, Jared's really excited about this. He's done a few sessions, and would like to build this into a continuing series.

So I wonder Tom, why he does not try to record the Royal Concertgebouw as a whole as nobody else is doing so at the moment. It would be great to have them back in DSD.
