Nice review Joseph! I completely agree (although I can understand why some would not recommend this SACD). It is probably not a first choice due to the slightly dated performance and the close-miked recording. But, it is a beautiful performance, which opens a window to another era. And despite the minor quibble about the miking, the SQ of this SACD has a warm, analogue feel. I also love the organ in this recording. I hadn't noticed that Anton Heiller's performance of Bach Bach: Organ Works - Anton Heiller was on SACD. Thanks for the tip!!
