I will leave you all alone now.

Happy listening.

Over the years I've had occasion to criticise some of Steve's work (without any negative feedback) but much was beyond his control with the material he had to work with.

When Steve does a good job it's usually a GREAT one and as far as I can tell he tries to bring out the best in the material without adding too much "Steve" to the result.

IMHO Steve is among the few top artist/craftsmen in his profession and I hope he as many more years bringing out the stand out products he has up 'till now.

On this topic, can one take seriously someone who gives stereocentral.tv as her web presence? Their forum is a meeting point for disgruntled former Steve Hoffman Forum members

You should have warned everyone entering the site that they are risking brain damage.

Pretty funny. What's the deal with SC.TV though? Just a show SH didn't like or what?

update: Nevermind. I figured out it's just short for StereoCentral.tv

audioholik was rude on my exit so I decided to come back.

Since Hoffman masters many a SACD lets continue this healthy discussion. A co-worker told me about this new technology "google". Here is more info. I found.

Shawn Britton (of MFSL) gets gorted

We might as well be talking about Honda marine outboard motors. They're heavy, by the way.

Why this vitriolic vendetta against SH, AG?

What I've garnered from your posts is that you're high on RBCD and loathsome to give ANY SACDs a decent review.

I have one of the better RBCD transports on the market: A Meridian 808 and yes, some Gold RBCDs sound wonderful but put on a decent sounding SACD (like ALL the ones you trashed) and the superiority of SACD shines through.

So, what gives BB?*

(* (HINT) Pudgy's mom).
