This promises to be quite special.

It would have been nice if they had also given us a Mch mix. I mean record companies thrown in all this assortment of colorful vinyl, RBCDs, marbles, scarves... everything but the kitchen sink for these expensive box sets.

Praise the Lord, Mike Bloomfield-Al Kooper-Steve Stills: Super Session has a 5.1 mix!

I agree with you, Lute.

I've listened to this and some songs, honestly, don't sound that good. But it's the performances, not the tech. That's the real reason I'm skipping this one.

Now, if they'd just release Crosby, Stills & Nash and Déjà Vu, in multi-channel.

Being in the radio biz has its perks--- I've got the whole thing downloaded from a promotional site in wav. Don't expect miracles. My own memory of seeing these very talented guys in concert in San Diego led me to believe that they tended to be better in the studio. Also, the recordings, while fine for the radio, are far from hi-fi. BY the way, I love their very first LP to pieces---but after 50 years of humping the hits, I'm a tad burned out on listening to anything but Classical music at home.

Seriously, folks, ANYONE who is remotely a CSNY fan should NOT be without this magnificent BD~A.

So it's not in 5.1. It's a 1974 concert and on my system the fidelity is simply amazing. Real Bass, sizzling cymbals and great separation.

CSNY were at their peak and the opening Stills number Love The One You're With will clue you in as to what lies ahead.

I paid $34US delivered and all I can say........it's a keeper!

Well, look who's back! I thought you were on a beach somewhere drinking $30 dollar beers with Jared. ;-) LOL

Ok Ok... I know I will end up getting this one. How can I resist CSNY!? I assume the sound is about as good as Zep's How the West Was Won DVDA. (Yep, I finally found one cheap.)

I paid about the same, much cheaper than Amazon.

Amazon briefly had it for $29 than raised the price to $55. Been getting some great deals at Deep Discount.

I was drinking Mojitos and caipirinhas (with strawberries) near a beach. Close enough, Hoop!
