Looking forward to this.

Just had a chance to listen all the way through earlier today. Eighty-four and a half minutes complete on a single disc, beautiful sound, very nice performance, sparkling solo harp work by Johannes Wik, what's not to like? For those who find Jarvi invariably too fast his 84 is pretty close to Previn's 86 and Mackerras' 87, my personal favorites, slower than Gergiev's quite brisk 81, and much quicker than the plodding Pletnev at 93 (the only ones I could pull out for comparison). I found it to be very enjoyable.

Chandos has been releasing "must listen" discs lately. This is definitely one of them. Equally enjoyable as the Swan Lake with excellent pace in my opinion.

How do you get 84:35 onto a CD? I guess there is no way to rip this to a recordable CD for car use.

It is possible, and has been done before. But that length does exceed redbook specs and is right on the edge of manufacturing capability.

Jarvi's late career is characterized by fast, perfunctory readings that demonstrate he is going through the motions and in a hurry to retire. I doubt he will continue to be recorded for much longer, thankfully.

I do not find him to have changed much. He has always been brisk.

Poo-poo the review link above. I do not think that it's dreadful at all. The truth shall be revealed if you give this disc a listen.

Yes, there is. There are CD-R:s for up to 90 minutes.
And, yes, it is technically possible without much trouble. We have an SACD with more than 86 minutes, CD, SACD stereo, SACD surround.
