Chamberland is another fine multichannel mix by David Miles Huber and I'll be buying his other DTS-CD releases, 'Chamberland-Berlin Remixes' and 'Colabs' for sure :)

Unfortunately, Derek, my Parallax Eden BD~A has NOT been shipped, as yet, which is why I haven't posted my thoughts regarding this recording.

Last night I did listen to Antiquasauria by cellist Ian Cooke and can heartily recommend it.

At present, I'm listening to the fantastic remastered 3 disc RBCD set of Erroll Garner's Concert By The Sea, complete for the first time. It's MONO but SONY did a great remastering job and the price for the three disc set with booklet was under $11 delivered, brand new!

I've just ordered the LP/DVD version of Antiquassauria. When you said he's a cellist, I thought you meant he played classical cello, but it sounds like a fun album and as I briefly studied Earth Sciences (i.e. Geology) at uni, it'll help me remember some of the arcane nomenclature I've since forgotten lol

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. The Neil Wilkes 5.1 surround mix is fantastic. VERY immersive. Like any NEW music it will take awhile for it to sink in. At least the price was right. I even received a 'coloring' book with the RBCD/DVD~A.....whoopee! Will have to dig my crayons out of mothballs.

I ordered Colabs a couple of weeks ago and it came today and I'm pleased to say, the multichannel mix is just as good as the others. It turns out though, that Colabs is collaborative effort between DMH and various artists and imo, not always for the better, but thankfully most of the music is agreeable to my tastes.

TWILIGHT ZONE ALERT...

Even though I ordered Chamberland and Colabs DTS CDs weeks apart from different sellers in different continents, both are numbered #076 - what are the chances of that???

Here's an interesting link to an interview with David in which he speaks about his approach to multichannel mixing.
