5 new titles of Everest Classic Hybrid Stereo SACD will be released on January 31, 2016 in Japan.

These SACDs are remastered from the original 35 mm magnetic tapes, and exclusively produced under license and released in Japan by the King International Inc. They are the fourth batch from a total of 50 titles.

I just bought 15 of these Everest releases from Amazon.jp. I found them to be very underwhelming. They probably just used the CD's that Amazon creates on demand as their source. If they REALLY had access to the master tapes, they would have done what Vanguard Classics did with the superb Everest masters that they released -- put 'em out in 3 track stereo. Esoteric/King and these other Japanese rip-off artists excel in only one thing... deceiving their gullible audiophiles like myself.
