According to comments on amazon:

"The "TBA" Genesis box set contains SACD's(hybrid, newly remixed stereo & surround sound) of five of the group's mid-period albums("A Trick of The Tail","Wind and Wuthering","And Then There Were Three","Duke" and "Abacab"),plus 5 DVD-Videos(Pal/All region) containing related videos, concert performances and interviews),plus(exclusive to this box set packaging),a bonus disc of remixed non-L.P. B-sides from this period of the group's career."

It sounds like a nice package - let's hope the price comes down a bit as the release date approaches!

Kind of odd that the font used for the title didn't appear on any Genesis albums between 1976-1982.

Hi,

I just don't care much about this but where is Genesis 1968-1973 (no .. not 74 while lamb is no good)?

Taken from: http://www.genesis-music.com/

To coincide with the Genesis tour, EMI Records will be re-issuing 14 Genesis studio albums in three stages during 2007. All the releases will be SACD/DVD double disc sets featuring newly re-mastered 5.1 surround sound and stereo mixes. The release schedule is as follows:

March 2007: A Trick Of The Tail (1976), Wind & Wuthering (1977), …And Then There Were Three…(1978), Duke (1980) Abacab (1981)

June/July 2007: Genesis(1983), Invisible Touch(1986), We Can't Dance (1991), Calling All Stations(1997)

Late 2007/Early 2008: Trespass (1970), Nursery Cryme (1971), Foxtrot (1972 ), Selling England By The Pound (1973), The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway(1974)

For the SACD fans in the States

The Genesis DVD-discs are also announced in the NTSC format

excellent news if true. They were initially pairing CD only with the NTSC release. The 10 dollar price break is welcome as well.

edit. CDUniverse is posting the same info and for 25.35 each

I've created a page with the Genesis releases so far and will add the upcoming titles later:

/genesis.php

Presumably there will be a NTSC version of the first box set so if you're in the US you may want to hold off for now. The links to purchase this will be added if/when it appears for pre-order.

That's not exactly true.
The boxset costs about £89 at hmv.co.uk. This is 133 euro.

It's much cheaper at Amazon.fr
