1. The entire Incubus catalog, with the stereo layers done properly (unlike the A Crow Left Of The Murder SACD)
2. The entire Rush catalog, it would be nice to hear Vapor Trails mastered properly
3. Cinematic Orchestra's Man With A Movie Camera soundtrack. Already a great sounding CD...would love to hear as an SACD.

My multi-channel SACD wish is for:
Solti's Ring Cycle
Britten's War Requiem
Mehta's Turandot
Karajan's La Boheme and Butterfly
Sinopoli's Gurrelieder
Charles Munch/Boston Symphony Orchestra Daphnis & Chloe (1961)
50's & 60's Film Scores in multi-channel 35mm tracks from
MGM, Universal, 20th Century Fox and Paramount

dear monteverdi, do you mean the Britten-conducted version on Decca? If not, then Chandos have a terrific Multi-Channel recording in the form of their SACD remastering of their already-fine 1991 recording with Hickox, the LSO and LSO Chorus. It comes on a two-SACD set with fine performances of the Sinfonia de Requiem and the Ballad of Heroes. The soloists are a star studded group of Heather Harper, Philip Langridge, Martyn Hill and John Shirley-Quirk. IMHO, it's every bit as good as Britten's own version, - less neurotic intensity perhaps but much better singing, not just in the soprano and tenor roles but also from the Chorus. Good old Penguin Guide agrees with me (or vice versa) saying that "Hickox's version rivals even the composer's own.... in its passion and perception.....golden toned...fearless...sesitive...subtle...unrivalled force...exceptionally fresh". The Britten version, whilst it has many fine moments is let down - at least musically - (IMHO) by the Russian warble of Vishnevskaya and sonically by a fair degree of hiss (on the RBCD). Only thing I'm not sure of re. the Hickox/Chandos is the resolution on SACD as Chandos are coy about thether they recorded originally in 16 bit or 20/44.1 or 48 or 92. Sounds great, all the same.

-Depeche Mode Catalogue
Especially the 80s Albums, that do sound bad on CD
-Kraftwerk
Now that new CD-Remasters are planned, there could be a chance for a release on SACD. At least CAN did so
-Coldplay
Both Albums and the upcoming

Additionally:
Beatles, Beach Boys, Pink Floyd, Genesis, U2...

Wow, that is blast from the past. It has been so long since I listened to (and enjoyed) Kraftwerk, probably about 20 years or so. I had forgotten they existed. I no longer even have them in my collection since I had them on cassette and have long since thrown all my cassettes out.

I do not see the remasters listed in Amazon US. I wonder if they will be released over here...

I wonder why most of you like to have older or classical titles.
Nothing against classical music, but I'd like to have more Soundtracks on SACD.
Lord of the Rings, Gladiator, The Village and so on.

The answer is relatively simple: Outstanding analog recordings offer the best sound - provided they are transferred directly to the SACD format. And for someone who has only three wishes it is quite normal to pick some of the best recordings ever made.
But I would also be happy to see more soundtracks on SACD (a special favourite is "First Knight").

Do you have the Salonen conducts Herrmann film music disc? If not, it's excellent.

If you had to pick a "most wanted to be released on SACD" wish list (3 items), what would they be? Just curious what everyone else dreams about.

1) Dire Straits- brothers in arms
2) Pink Floyd- the wall
3) Beatles- abbey road
and a lot, lot more.

1. The Beatles catalog

Agreed, as long as the releases are in stereo/multichannel.

2. The Rolling Stones' "Sticky Fingers", "Exile On Main Street", "Goat's Head Soup," and "Some Girls", all in hybrid multichannel.

3. The entire Clash catalogue.

Add to those (all in MC, of course...): David Bowie's "Berlin Tryptich" of "Low", "heroes" and "Lodger" in MC, R.E.M.'s entire IRS catalogue, U2's catalogue, The Byrds' first 6 Lps, especially "Notorious Byrd Brothers", Bob Dylan's "Bootleg Series" (all volumes), plus "Biograph", Miles Davis's "Bitches Brew", the entire Warren Zevon catalogue, all releases from Lou Reed, John Cale & The Velvet Underground, and Neil Young's "Rust Never Sleeps", "Tonight's The Night", the unreleased double live LP with the Blue Notes, and "Freedom".

And I've got so many more I could add...
