Just added this to my wish list. Check out the recording specs:

valve microphones: Neumann U47, U 48, M49
mike pre-amplifiers: Signoricci
line, digital, microphone, supply cables: Signoricci
recorded in stereo Direct Stream Digital ( DSDTM )
on the Pyramix Recorder using dCS A/D and D/A converters

Recording date: August 12/13/14 - 2009
2009 Audiophile Productions

I hope this sounds as sweet as Die Röhre, The Tube - Stuttgarter Kammerorchester

Sounds promising. Is it multi-channel or mere stereo?

I was intrigued by Arnaldo's review of what he calls "Baroque Concertos for Reverberation and Multiple Reflections from Pergolesi's time", so I listened to the sound samples at JPC (over a pretty good setup I have at the office, including a subwoofer).

It's full of Schlag: redolent in overtones; given the acoustics of cathedrals etc in the time of Pergolesi, I think he'd approve. --And glutton for pleasure that I am, I ordered it!
