I think this is the most "soulful" album of the Doobies. And this sacd version blows away similar tracks in my DCC Compact Classics The Best of the Doobies 24K gold cd. The most analogue sounding too! The percussion sounds were clean and vibrant but never bright. The bass is tight and just sounds right. The vocals are clear and dead centered. How I hope "What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits" in sacd format will also be released soon!

This one I want bad. Takin' It to the Streets is a favorite song and album.

A very interesting tidbit: Just received my copy today (as yet have not auditioned it) but on the back it stated Manufactured by Rhino Entertainment Company: A Warner Music Group Company. One wonders why they didn't allow MoFi to master in 4.0 the Chicago Transit Authority DTS DVD onto an SACD ... one wonders how much better it would've sounded? I hope this trend continues with more Warner Product but hopefully we'll eventually get some more 4.0 Quad reissues (despite what MoFi alleges) with Rhino supplying the masters and MoFi preparing them for SACD.
