Can anyone else who has this set please let me know if their copy has the two discs pancake-style on the same spindle, or if it has a swing door with one disc on each side? Or maybe it was produced both ways??

So does mine - 2 discs on the same spindle ... and I was trying to figure out if maybe I had changed the box over? I don't remember doing that !?

I bought this shortly after it was released and it has separate spindles for each disc. Sounds like they changed the packaging for later issues.

Superlative performance. Superlative recording. Superlative sonics. Superlative SACD. Price? Worth it. One of the few disc sets I'd pay $$$ for.

There are 24/88 and 24/176 PCM downloads (derived from the DSD transfers) available from HDtracks, at a much lower price (though overpriced as far as downloads go).
