I was just thinking the other day "when are they going to release the double album 'Exile on Main Street' on a single SHM~SACD?'" (Answer: 12/14/11!)

Thanks for the heads up.

Since I have superb renderings of Queen's "A Night At The Opera" and "The Game" on multichannel 5.1 DVD~Audio (still available, btw, from Amazon US, new and used), I'll pass on those. Same for "Tubular BELLS!" But "Sheer Heart Attack"...............

Nice with Queen, but I want them to do the Bob Marley catalogue! Universal were just about to release Burning when they abandoned SACD

I feel your pain. One of my favorite albums: Chris Isaak's "Heart Shaped World" was an upcoming DVD-Audio when Warner Bros. quit the format and canceled all announced releases.

And what a great sounding DVD~A that would've been! Well it's not too late to release it in SACD 5.1 since presumably the masters for that and "Burning" are already done!

At least my take on all the Queen albums coming in one go so to speak, is that this means that we might expect something similar to happen to other famous bands....for example U2, Bob Marley....

Since Universal Japan has also been zipping through the Rolling Stones catalogue I sincerely hope that U2 has their debut on SHM~SACD, especially their early albums before they ventured into Arena Rock.

Give us Bob Marley.

U2 is impossible I think.

Why is it impossible to conceive that U2 will ever debut on SACD? I, for one, would rather have their discography in multichannel mastered by Analogue Productions than just settle for very pricey stereo SHM~SACDs, but that's just my opinion.

U2's album's are very densely layered and would be a natural for mch!
