Anyone willing to record this?

For those who don't know (and this is probably the vast majority, including on this forum), "La Légende des Sciences" is a franco-german documentary series that was produced in 1996 and broadcasted for the first time in 1997.

The series is - as the name suggests - about science and what the various progresses in science have brought to humankind. Each film in the series (there are a total of 12) has a different topic and is litterally lifted by its music, composed by Eric Demarsan (also known for scoring l'Armée de Ombres, the Cercle Rouge...), and by the voice of French philosopher Michel Serres.

The music itself was conceived, as the composer says, as a "symphonic suite in shape of colors". This is a truly magnificent music, unfortunately it is no longer available in any decent format (you can only find it in poor resolution mp3 downloads on the internet).

I wish someone would give this score a second chance by recording it in (good) surround sound. It deserves.

Sorry to sound like a wet blanket, but got $50K? That's about as cheap as you can get a quality production house to record it, and pay minimal expenses. SFO paid $85K for each Mahler session, and they paid the hall and orchestra!
