Now that BIS have started including the detail of recording format used for a recording on the inside back cover please could one of the people who has recommended this disc take a quick peek at the recording information and tell us what format was used. Thanks.

I am one of the listeners who recommended this disc. It was recorded at two sessions in Tapiola Concert Hall, Finland in 2005 and 2009, at 44.1/24 resolution. Better sonics than the numbers might suggest -- plenty of detail and a deep soundstage. Conducting is sympathetic and John-Edward Kelly's saxophone performance is dazzling. BIS has a long working partnership with Kalevi Aho; the sessions on this SACD were recorded in the presence of the composer.

24/44? then it must be worthless! (kidding). Seriously, it is a very interesting disc. Aho is a very personal voice, the Tapiola Sinfonietta is a stunning ensemble.
