Probably the same content and mastering as with the High Vibration boxset......only for diehard fanbase......not to mention some titles has been availabe separatel already (someone has split a few HV-boxsets probably). Steven Wilson mixes ARE more interesting and far better sounding.

Yes, you're definitely correct that the Steve Wilson-mixed efforts are better than the also released SACDs. Apart from the fact that the DVD-As offer MCH audio in addition to 2-channel, they just sound better. That was one of my biggest surprises over the past year - in addition to my absolute disappointment at the ELP Brain Salad Surgery DVD-A, which was very poor and one of the worst hi-res purchases for quite a while. I'm so pleased that I've just got shot of it!

Very much looking forward to "Tales from Topographic Oceans", but does this mean I have to order from Japan, only?

Might be.....CDjapan.co.uk is reliable service and if you are ordering in a certain pace, they giving off a decent deductions from the list price.

Concerning TFTO: to my ears sounds the best from HV-box. The first track is original version w/o Wakeman intro presented some ten years ago for the very first time (I like both versions).

Nevertheless it might be worth waiting on Steven Wilson efforts.

Some tasty issues in the offing. More Mendelssohn from CBSO on Chandos, Prokoviev, Bartok, Hindemith and Webern string music from Bis, Chopin and John Ward (with Magdalene College Oxford) from Linn and, strangely, 80's Hits and 80's love from Sony. I am not clear which division of Sony that will be, but the cover doesn'y look Japanese.) Also Gliere symphony 3 from Naxos on bluray audio. Just when I thought things were thinning out for disc format!
