I know this might sound like a bit of an anachronism, but I wonder if anyone knows whether a small or portable SACD player is being manufactured at the moment. I have quite a nice little stereo setup (so I don't want or need multichannel) but don't have much room to place a player with it and would like to listen to some of my singlr layer SACDs while I'm working on my computer.

There isn't any portable SACD player on the market yet. Personally, I would be interested in one.

So would I. I would also be interested in SACD capability in my car-there is DVD-A, why not SACD?

I'd be perfectly happy with a car SACD player. I'd simply make a little power supply for it.

I wrote to Sony International about this topic over a week ago now and haven't had a reply yet. I find that very disappointing and will probably write again.
