I suspect they make 45RPM LP sets only so vinyl fetishists have an excuse to fondle their discs and gear every 15 minutes.

Well, Claude, an SACD travels faster than 45rpm so it must sound better.

And you only have to 'fondle' it ONCE!

I have this on regular CD and really enjoy the performance and sound. The quality of the playing by the LAPO is really top notch. I also think the Star Wars recording and performance is equally superb (as good as or better than Williams own recording). I'm kind of surprised this release doesn't appear to be generating much interest. It's a classic audio gem, IMO.
