This set is bound to be the set of the year. I only wish it were less expensive. Still, I have 2 of the releases already so I guess I'll be picking these up one by one.

There is some confusion about the number of discs in this set. According to Amazon it contains 10 discs, but on jpc only 9 discs.

Querstand themselves say 9 discs. According to the tracking, they've managed to get all of the 8th symphony onto 1 disc. I'm sceptical about this (given that it clocks up to 84'05 and the maximum time for the RBCD layer is less than this) but have to go on the information supplied by them. Of course, if someone were to get it & update us all...

They probably just put the first or last movement movement on one of the other discs.

I have the eighth, and it's on two discs. Of course, they could have reauthored it for the set.

That's not possible (having the individual releases) and it's not what the track listing on Querstands own site says (gives the symphony 6 tracks on 1 disc).

Symphony No.1 is only 49 minutes; either the first or last movement of the 8th could easily fit on that disc.

But the cover art indicates that all 84 minutes of the 8th is on a single disc:

That must be a new record.

So, I have yet to see this set at anywhere near $100. And it's no where to be found in the US.
