From 18 March, there will be a recording available at http://www.linnrecords.com/linn-john-passion.aspx of the sermon & intercession (which would occur in the liturgy between tracks 25 & 26 on disc 1); extra info on this release (sources & bibliography for the notes, a summary of the sermon & intercession) is already released via the same page.

Thanks, John. The "extras", which I didn't previously know about, change this one from a wait and see to a definite pre-order.

I've listened to this several times over the last few days (obviously the timing couldn't be better) and am just as impressed with it as Polly is. The unusual presentation hasn't been uniformly well received, but I think it adds a great deal to place the Passion within the Good Friday Vespers service (though my German is not up to the demands of the downloadable sermon). Bravo to all concerned at Linn, and a retrospective tip of the hat to those 18th century Lutherans who participated in an almost three hour long Vespers. My fellow parishoners would be slinking out the door.
