Performance:   Sonics:
The highly underrated Livingston Taylor joins the SACD roster with a very enjoyable disc that is perfect for high stress days.

Consisting of 2 original songs, "Our Turn To Dance" and "I Must Be Doing Something Right" as well as an eclectic collection of covers. He ranges from Ambrosia, "The Biggest Part of Me", Don Henley "The End of the Innocence" and Stevie Wonder "Isn't She Lovely". In addition, he creates interesting versions of "Never Can Say Goodbye" and "Baker Street".

As for the sonics, this is one of Chesky's best discs. Just listen to the whistle(s) on "Isn't She Lovely". Excellent detail and realism. The mutli-channel disc is not agressive. The rears are used just for ambience. The vocals come from the front L and R speakers. There is very little center activity on this disc.

Like most Chesky and Telarc discs, the volume does need to cranked up a bit. Since the material is so good, you will not mind.
