i absolutely loved this album and i love it twice as much on sacd. however, beware becuase it saounds nothing like gold, its sound more like listening to ryan adams does nirvana. in any case the multi channel mix is incredible and i happen to think the performance was incredible as well. if you liked the cd this is a definite buy.

This is my favorite Ryan Adams album; I also own the cd version.
Here is one that wraps itself around you and takes over. This is music that was made for surround and I think it works pretty well. It is very even and quite angry: it works in that extreme!
I enjoy the mix and sonics over the cd version. I play this often and enjoy it more each time

Great great music. Although Adams' overproductiveness has been critized a lot over the years, each album is better than what his one-cd-in-5-years colleagues are doing. His genius is one of a kind. Having both the versions, the SACD sound makes this worth the buy over the redbook.
