Chesky is a great label and produces many amazing sacd's. Even though I am a dsd snob and prefer this as my best digital source high rez pcm when recorded good is very excellent as well.

Clark Terry is a great trumpet player from way back in the glory days of jazz and he still plays amazingly well. As mentioned the recording here is flawless with sonics that are jaw dropping. Just crank the volume way up and be amazed. This disc easily showcases how great a trumpet master Terry still is. The music is great jazz recorded is modern technology.....so its fresh and invigorating.

Terry even scats through several songs. His trumpet sound is captured perfectly as is his back up band. This is one of those albums that is great from start to finish. At times the recording is extremely lifelike.

I dont want to go on and on.

Highly recommended in every way. A superb sacd from the famous Chesky label. A fabulous listen. Play it loud.
