Performance:   Sonics:
Yes A great album. It has the continuity because, obviously, it is the music of
one man and yet the variety due to the different voices ranging from Sting to Chaka Khan.
It's unobtrusive and relaxing, but definitely not boring. Well worth buying and smthg
that you can listen to over and over again.

Performance:   Sonics:
Telarc’s “A love affaire” with music of Ivan Lins is a fantastic release with a plenty of well known stars in the music scene. I bought the red book version already two years ago and the sound stage is fantastic with a great timbre. Having evolved to SACD including multi-channel, I was thrilled when Telarc announced this release and it was worth for me to buy it again. Using the Original recording format with Telarc 20Bit PCM, the SACD version sounds still slightly warmer and the multi-channel mix is a real enrichment. This is of course also due the stronger bass compared to the red book. But what happened to the frequencies in mid-range? The harp in Sting’s “She walks this earth” was always so clear on CD and just has gone too far in the background on the SACD stereo as well as the multi-channel mix. This is why I can rate the sonic with max four stars
