Performance:   Sonics:
My first experience of Fiona was with her sisters on the superb 'Mackenzie and William Jackson' album. This solo album is alot more contempory from the more Gaelic traditional themes of 'Mackenzie and William Jackson' but just as beautiful. There are 3 Gaelic songs with the last, 'Hi o Hè', being the most contempory on the album. I do like the orchestral arrangements on 'A Little While Longer'. My only disappointment is that the album has only 38 minutes of music - I guess I'm greedy for more.

The sleeve notes contain all the lyrics with the alternative english for the Gaelic as well.
This is a SACD 4.1 recording and I have no complaints with the sonics.

A very pleasant album and highly recommended. You can listen to it online a Linn Records of course.
