Performance:   Sonics:
I would like to bestow my own title of "SACD of the Year" and "Records To Die For (all time)" for this disc. This has superior interpretation from Maestro Miyuji Kaneko as well as state-of-the-art recordings done by Exton, commissioned by Esoteric Japan. The comparison between the two microphones (only available on the SACD Stereo Layer) highlights what is achievable in the recording technique. Should you want to enjoy the music, impress other listeners or to evaluate your playback system, this is the disc you should get. Highly recommended. Play it back as loud as possible (not exceeding 0 dB of course) and if your system can take it, this is as close to the live concert.
