Performance:   Sonics:
Some recordings just instantly grab you and you can hear the amazing sonic improvements on the first track.

I own a red book version, the original sacd and now this beautiful new version. Without hesitation I would recommend this release to any Police fan. It is the definitive digital release of this all time classic.

I'm not particularly good at getting in depth and describing the technical details of why this release stands out so much but all I can tell you is that I've heard this album more times than i can count and I'm so glad to have such a perfect sacd release to accompany my listening sessions.

Buy this while you can before it's an eBay rarity selling for far more then it is now!

The Police-Zenyatta Mondatta SHM Single Layer SACD Stereo 2014

Great 2014 reissue of this 1980 recording. Stereo only, beautiful sonic presence. Stereo separation was perfect, balance superb vocals coming dead center with solos center also.

Performance is great for this world famous icon of rock music. Many flavors on this disc from reggae, jazz and power rock. I felt at times that on a couple of there instrumentals they even had the power trio feel of the band Rush.

Stereo Sonics, as above, just plain great. Plays loud well.

Packaging: My favorite mini Japanese boxes with mini duplicates in side of original LP all sturdy construction.

Side Note: I accidentally purchased the SHM CD and this SACD is superior to it, albeit a little. Also, looking at the Zenyatta Mondatta DR. list any version you purchase is quite good sonically. It appears The Police like all there recordings to be fine.

Glad I have it.
