This is certainly on of the best orchestral recordings ever made and the best recording of Church Windows you will ever find. Stunning dynamic range, splendid multichannel sound image and exceptional performances by Vladimir Ashkenazy.

The sound of this disc will blow you away, this has such an awesome dynamic range that it will drive your system to its limits. And the realism is absolutely stunning. Yes the sound is flawless but the performance could have been a little more theatrical and high voltage. Fantastic none the less.

This the spirit of Beethoven and the true voice of Beethoven.
