Stunning!!!!!!! This is where SACD equals Vinyl.. it is just like the quietest best 200gram pressing you could find. I'd buy an SACD player for just this album, it would be worth it. Daniel.

Firsly, I am not a ring cycle expert, the only other performance I have is Knapersbusch, Bayreuth 1956. The recording is excellent. Smooth strings, and plenty of room ambience. You can easily track the voices as they move forward, backwards, left and right. Voices "shimmer" out of the black ...

Stunning, I recieved about 15 SACD's in a pile, and this one immediately stood out both sonically and musically. Daniel.

I'm not one for long reviews. I bought these from HMV Japan. I've one or two Dutton CD's so knew what to expect from historical recordings.. What I didn't know, was what to expect of Furtwängler.. really, if you have not heard Beethoven 9th or the "Coriolan" overture (Op.62) played by Furtwängler ...

Well, I found this at a small record shop near me. It doesn't have hybrid stickers on it, or a propoganda card. So unless you read the text on the back of the SACD, you wouldnt easily notice it was a SACD. Recorded in 1969/1970, it is an album of soundtracks they did for films. Sound quality is ...
