Can I start this review by saying I will downgrade the sonics of all previous reviews by half a star after listening to this remarkable disc.Its a sonic marvel.Quickly on to the Music which is hard to describe by comparing to other composers as some have done..You cannot ...as its so ... more

Ok only criticism of Previous previous is the comment Original ? version... Dawn Upshaw,etc,,Nonesuch,,,IT WASNT...and the genuine original is/was even deeper...however on a night of genuine celebration It feels weird to state that the cheapo sacd of a depressed theme is probably even better than ... more

Another cheapo but highly recommended.Piano tone for sacd is set from the first note and is almost perfect for a non DSD recording.Albeit these easy melodious works are more technically demanding on the pianist (who copes admirabily) than the recording engineer..for those who dont know the works and ... more
