Performance:   Sonics:
Well I cannot disagree much with the previous review.?.
The sonics are as exceptional as is the playing.Probably the nicest Linn sounding disc
Ive heard.
This is not a guitar tour d force and the line up of Acoustic guitar,Rhythm guitar,Acoustic bass accordian and snare drum only (plus a cabasa?) makes for a lighter weight presentation that some hifi enthusiasts might like.
The 11 tracks all approx 5 minutes are stylized on Django who part penned three of the numbers. It is noted Taylor who wrote three uses a pick instead of fingers and this no doubt explains some of the amazing and remarkable sounds and clarity.
Starting with an accordian based Chez Fernand (Taylor written) its followed by a clear Jazz style Minor Swing.A slower Night and day then the amazing bossa Nova shuffle Nuages which will impress everyone.
The remaining various but similair styles tracks include a dreamy djangos dream and again more incredible overall playing on some standards.Gershwins Lady be good followed by honeysuckle rose.
60 minutes of not to difficult music ,much better than background music even for those who dont follow this style.
