This was recorded in the 60's in a little shack down south on a small tape recorder. The sound and recording are fantastic. Highly realistic, warm and one can feel the quietness and the smallness of the shack in question. It's rather stuffy but intimate. There is a lot of weary sadness in Burnside's voice with a little touch of wry humour too. His voice is rendered amazingly real and his guitar is captured in deep, rich tones.

Again Mobile Fidelity does a masterful transfer from the original master tapes. Mofi is one of the very best Company's when it comes to historic transfers.

My only complaint with the songs is that they tend to sound alittle alike at times.

Highly recommended.
Fantastic music and fabulous recording and transfer.
