|I purchased this from Amazon.fr. Be aware that none of the website listings (amazon.com or amazon.fr) actually mention the fact that it is in SACD format so make sure you don't end up buying the RBCD version.
The SACD version comes in a box with a 72 page booklet which is in french.
I have to agree with the other reviewer that it is a lovely film score although alot of the pieces are more incedental music than songs - still very nice. The soundtrack opens and closes with the same song - Sinead O'Conner opens with 'a new born child' and her singing is beautiful and emotional as always and Sandrine Piau closes again with a beautiful version in french. The last track is 7 minutes long and Sandrine Piau does not start singing until after a short break in the song mid way through.
Sonics, well its beautifully recorded but there are no technical details. All 3 layers are excellent but the best is the multichannel 5.1 SACD.
I'd also highly recommend it.
