Performance:   Sonics:
Rolling Stones: Emotional Rescue SHM SACD Stereo Only.

Same as others a sacd re release from 2011. This disc released 11-26-2014. Originally released in 1980.

Actually sounds pretty good.

Performance: My first copy of this recording even though of course familiar with the hits, Emotional Rescue and I love the song She's So Cold. The other songs on disc I heard for first time and I think as a whole it is a very good Stones disc. When I sit down and listen it is always easy to hear the vibe of the previous album, in this case Some Girls. Also keep in mind that with any artists the next album may have left overs from the previous unless the artist wants to go in a new direction with a new producer/engineer.

Stereo Sonics: Very good and a lot better that most of there recordings. Full, rich sound, great stereo separation, all instruments resonate well and plays well loud. I could definitely hear the difference and was happy to hear the improvement in sonic quality. I believe??, that recording in general starts to take an uphill glide now that we are out of the seventy's. The song Indian Girl is enough to prove the sonic quality of a Stones disc is improving. This sound stage clearly opens up compared to others.

Packaging: Plastic jewel case with square corners. Original mini paper booklet, sparse liner notes. Black and white mini Japanese booklet with English lyrics.

A fresh disc and with two big hits from 1980 it is a keeper.
