The TAAB 5.1 doesn't qualify for the Poll chart as it's not in Hi-Res but only a DVD-V in lossy 5.1 DTS.. of all the Tull 5.1's remixed by Steven Wilson so far only the Aqualung set qualifies for the Poll chart as it has a Blu-ray in the box.

Thanks for explaining that! :) I was wondering WHY such an interesting mix, such as Steven Wilson's TAAB mix, wasn't listed. I mean... sure it's a little bright here and there, but sound wise it's a heck of a lot better than some of the Genesis that is listed IMO. And Ian Anderson's flute coming from the center channel sounds so vivid!

Given how well a proper 5.1 mix can separate the instruments & vocals into a more natural, coherent image, I find it incomprehensible that so many music labels keep releasing the same old 2-ch mix and... that so many audiophiles limit themselves to what is basically nothing more than an oversized soundbar. Incredible!!

Has anyone actually gotten their hands on this disc yet? I pre-ordered at Amazon and was supposed to receive it on the day of release (June 10) but now I'm being told that I'll get it sometime between now and July 10. I get the feeling that this has been a victim yet again of the confusion caused by releasing this reissue of the original studio album at the same time as the live concert version of the same music.

Amazon UK emailed this morning to say the standalone single disc HFPA Blu-ray Audio is on its way in the mail (I'm in the UK). I've already got the Blu-ray Audio in the Super Deluxe of the Live set which arrived on Monday and both the 5.1 and Stereo of the 1973 album on the BD-A are excellent.

I have this disc now. Can anybody tell me what the difference might possibly be between the options "PCM Stereo" and "1973 Audio" Both appear to be 96kHz/24-bit.

One is the original 1973 Stereo mix, the other (PCM Stereo) is a new 2014 Stereo remix.

Little Story: I purchased this disc only to return 5 times with two different vendors. Would not play in my McIntosh SACD/BluRay player and decided it was the player and not the disc.

By chance I met the President of McIntosh a couple weeks ago, showed him my disc, and he told me the hole was slightly off center. He also told me to take a fine sand paper and just smooth out the center hole a bit. Well it worked to my amazement, but still had some vibrating noise while spinning.

Now McIntosh has a correction, an added bushing that corrects vibration that is a 15 min fix for this disc and possibly others in the future. Of course I have to bring it in for the 15min fix.

Looking forward to a proper listening of the 5.1 mix.
