It was announced that ORG music would no longer manufacture SACDs. Yet One Bit Audio lists it on 5/24 as upcoming and Elusive Disc lists it as a pre~order?

What Gives?

ORGSA0194.

ORG (Original Recordings Group) and ORG music are 2 different labels.

This one seems to be on ORG, despite the contrary information on onebitaudio.

ORG has decided to return to the SACD market after heavy lobbying via email and Facebook from fans.

"Grace" by Jeff Buckley is now available from Elusive Disc and two more Jazz SACDs by Charles Mingus (Mingus Ah Um) and Thelonious Monk (Monk's Dream) are coming later this year.

Great news, bmoura. I suppose all the negative rants against ORG's decision to halt SACD production paid off.

Also great to have Mingus and Monk back on board as future SACD releases.

I just found about this today. Talk about being in the dark! :) Suffice it to say, I immediately ordered it from Elusive Disc. While "Grace" isn't QUITE a desert-island disc for me, it is, however, a transcendent masterpiece that deserves to be in anyone's pop/rock collection. I frequently wonder how much more Jeff would've accomplished had he not died so young. I can't wait to hear this on my Marantz player.

Received an SACD of Grace on 6/9. It sounds fantastic!

Were there any bonus cuts, Lerxst?

Sony released a 2 disc deluxe remaster of Grace a few years back which included copious bonus cuts.

Have any surfaced on ORG's SACD remaster?
