Just received this disc.
Excellent sound quality.
Does anyone know why no proper disc title?
Only the list of composers is cited.

How about this:
"Dance 'till you drop"
in recognition of the Salome opener.

This is recorded roughly around the same time as L'arlesienne Suite. It's indeed a pretty well done recording. Thanks for sharing. The performance is amongst the best in my opinion, brisk and bold as it should be.

Dear Links,

Thank you for your input. This release is part of a series of three which feature ballet/theatre/dance music. The first CD comprises music by French composers, the one you mentioned above is about German-speaking composers and the third one (which will be released in the near future) will be Russian themed. None of the releases has a proper title, the series will have one :)

Here you can find the first release: http://www.pentatonemusic.com/bizet-faure-gounod

Hope to answer your question.

Regards,

PENTATONE
