Apart from being a little more resonant than ideal, it comes over very well on my stereo only system, and the playing is superb. In my opinion, the sound is at least good.

It is curious how different some recordings sound to different people on different sound systems, a point raised here before.

PS I've just reread Raffells's review and agree with him very largely about performance and recording, though I found the latter to be a little better than he did. It was just the programme I wanted.

I suppose it would help if you posted what equipment you are using and what aspects you find Bad.What are you comparing it with?.
Dont be sorry. If more people posted information it would help isolate the sacd turkeys...and it helps when you get someone who has similair opinions to discs as youself. There are some people on this forum who only like one aspect of the sound and others who give rave reviews about the music without any reason or background..It doesnt matter but it all helps. As Peter as indicated there must be a reason for these differences. We have totally different systems but consistently I find his and a few others spot on.On accasions I dont add a review cos the original reviwer has written exactly wot I would say. .One days we will get enough clues to help identify the causes of good from bad..."Bearing in mind" is exactly where these opinions come from... D
