That's a Sonny Clark album

It's good to finally see some BD-A releases in 24/192.

Many of those albums have been released as 24/192 downloads already (probably the same transfer as used for these discs), so it would have been odd to release these as BD-As with only 24/96 content, when there is plenty of space on the discs.

Talking of unused space, the Sonny Clark and John Coltrane albums have been released in hi-rez as a stereo and a mono version (the mono is a different mix, not just a fold-down from stereo). It would be great if both were present on the BD-A.

Are you referring to the HDtracks .. Mono version of "Cool Struttin" Claude?

The web site states that "digital transfers" by Ron McMasters.. have you listen to it?

I have not heard it yet.

The Ron McMaster credit could be an error. He has remastered most Blue Note CD reissues in the 1980's and 90's, but not recently. Most HDtracks Blue Note releases were transferred and mastered by Bernie Grundman and Alan Yoshida. Both did an excellent job.
