Just over 1000 and still growing. Can't pass up either Arabella Steinbacher or Feng Ning (in Chinese it is Ning Feng as they take the family name first.)

Over 100, and continue to increase by about 15 to 20 a year. I source them from the US, UK, Japan, Korea, Germany, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. They were becoming scarce a couple of years ago, but more titles are now re-appearing steadily. At the current rate, I expect my collection of SACD to hit 200 in about 2, 3 years.

Some titles are coming out in regular SACD, and then in DMM-SACD. There are also Patinum SACD's from Japan, but I haven't tried any.

I am just happy about the rush of recent re-issues, even though prices are high (often US$30+). I buy them even if I am not sure, lest I miss out. I notice many are limited re-issuance of 1,000 copy only. You never know how long this resurgency of SACD will last.

Some of the re-issues (even the audiophile ones) sound similar to (and certainly no better than) the original SACD's; and some audiophile CD's (eg Blu-spec CD II) sound very similar to SACD's in my system.

Perhaps I should to replace my US$20k system with something better. But that can only happen if I have enough software to justify getting better hardware. That may take a few more years.

I agree. I have far too many and prefer listening to sound that does not have noise pollution ultrasonic wise.
So ,I will be reducing my never to be played stock to as few as possible in order to play the much cleaner and purer pcm download files that I can manipulate to my hearts desire.
Luckily my hearing ability still is in good shape so I am not in need of augmented engineered and manually processed surround sound (either in our out of phase) to assist in listening.
Also luckily these will be in stereo which is technically nearer to the original source of a sound field.
I can still get enough genuine hirez bits through the bottleneck DVD restriction in its original and unchangeable design.Even without MLP assistance.
ps.

Yep Ive been spending time unwinding the mysteries of DSD128.LOL.
After reverse engineering dsd64 it was not that difficult.

Still feel that they should allow Dot CON for websites discussing DSD so called qualities.

Cannot initially understand why anyone bothered?.Except for greed.
Must admit though.
Doing that test ie 4 times playback DSD/the record it/then play that and re record just to show how much degradation of high frequencies takes place was interesting.
I know the DSD cheerleaders dont want to do it or even discuss it and one near octogenarian (with matching hearing) got close to hysterical when it showed up the reason for so called sweetening of the sonics.
Well.
DSD 128 is nowhere ear as bad on 4th re record.

Yes DSD is kinder to medium and poor amplification systems.Thats the top and bottom of it.Pun intended.

Maybe a few new websites www.5xhiresthru.dvd.9.6mpsdoesntgo.com
or www5x5hirezthubluray24mpscango.com

Ok lets prepare ourselves for the usual hysterics before I reveal the findings . I believe she has even got a new moniker and name?.
Sad.

With the addition of blu-ray coverage to this site, some of the hysterical folks took their toys and went home! ;-)
